mercuryrocketbank1.JPG (11225 bytes) diecast metal MERCURY Rocketship silvery gray color. class stylized horizontal rocket which is reminiscent of the old Flash Gordon style.  place a coin atop the rocket and push the pilot and the coin disappears into the nose of the ship.  complete with coin trap and the key.  8". 1950's Duro Mfg.  Decals for First National Bank of Portland.   minimal wear.  works great. overall in excellent or nicer condition!   147.50
seafirstrocketbank2.JPG (45470 bytes) diecast metal.  STRATO BANK mechanical bank.  silvery greenish blue.  old stylistic XU 232 Rocketship is heading toward the moon.  place a coin on top of rocket and push the red button and the coin disappears inside the moon!  complete with coin trap and key.  7.5" long.  1950's by Duro Mfg.  Has decals for "Sea-First National Bank" Seattle Washington on each side.  decals have wear.  there is scuff along the bottom edge on one side below decal.  a bit dirty (could use a cleaning).  overall it is excellent or nicer condition.  colors are bright and strong.  works great.  135.00

oregonrocketbankgold1.JPG (8891 bytes) SATELLITE BANK diecast rocketship mechanical bank.  10.75" tall.  matte gold finish.  1950's promotional from First National Bank or Oregon.  complete with trap and key.  works great!  Large Buck Rogers type space ship is sitting atop globe of the Earth.  great looking piece.  decal on base is worn and some scratches on reverse side of base.  excellent.  135.00

diecast metal ROCKETSHIP BANK - identical to the Astro but this one is WHITE!  red engine exhausts.  complete with the red rubber nose cone and red "feet" and the original key.  Issued by North Side Deposit Bank.  just shy of 13" tall.  has all the original red/white/blue stickers.  Made by Vacumet.  works great.  this version is extremely rare and never seen this nice.  no flaws.  near mint plus.  225.00

diecast metal ASTRO ROCKETSHIP BANK.  Gray color; stands upright.  approx. 12.5" tall.  This is the early version with the bases of the fins "rounded" without the tiny "feet".   1950's by Duro Mfg.  Pull the jet back on the side of the rocket; place a coin in the cradle and push the button - the jet propels the coin into the nose cone.  Bank is COMPLETE with the red rubber nose cone; the rocket engine coin trap; and a working key!  works great.  normal wear to the finish from use.   very good to excellent.  145.00

KENMAX from Japan model kit.  MECHANICAL BANK - cannon and castle turret.  "Million Dollar Saving Bank" Series.  molded in three colors.  base is approx. 7.75" by 3.5".  hard plastic.  1960's or earlier vintage.  cannon shoots coin into castle turret.  nice box art.  extremely scarce!  parts are mint.  box is excellent plus or nicer.  (has a split corner.)   175.00

Pyro Hard Plastic Mechanical ELEPHANT BANK.  Circa 1950 issue.  red and yellow.  place coin in trunk of elephant and push monkey forward .... and the coin is deposited.  remove bottom cap to retrieve money.  7.5" by 5.5" tall.  bright and shining.  no signs of use.  mint in box.  box is intact and shows minimal storage wear.  extremely scarce!  245.00

U.S. Army JUPITER ROCKET mechanical bank.  late 1950's vintage.  Made by Superior Toy of Chicago.  13.5" tall.  white with red nose; blue fins and red rockets.  Raised lettering on sides reads U.S. ARMY.   place the coin in position and push the button and the coin disappears up-under the nose cone.  The coin trap is the red rockets in the very base (which is removeable).  no cracks.  no chips.  no breaks.  no play wear.  mint condition with illustrated box.  149.50

U.S. Army JUPITER ROCKET mechanical bank.  late 1950's vintage.  Made by Superior Toy of Chicago.  13.5" tall.  dark blue with white nose; red fins and white rockets.  Raised lettering on sides reads U.S. ARMY.   place the coin in position and push the button and the coin disappears up-under the nose cone.  The coin trap is the red rockets in the very base (which is removeable).  displays as mint BUT the end piece of one of the fins is broken off.  clean break - does not look bad at all!  no play wear.  85.00

HAPPY CLOWN mechanical Bank. 8” tall plastic clown. Button on back of his head. When coin is placed in slot between his shoulder; then you push button; coin deposits and he sticks his tongue out. 1950’s vintage; no maker mark. Excellent condition; some paint wear around his name at base. MISSING the coin trap on the bottom side.  45.00
