Unusual packaging. Set of 4 MATCHBOX cars. Package reads "Limited Offer, decorate you cars with SPEED STICKS Customizing Kit - Super Bonus Offer: Special Cars & Customizing Stickers". Includes the following cars: DATSUN 280 ZX in black with white interior; TOYOTA CELICA GT in red with white interior; DODGE CHALLENGER in light metallic lime green with white interior; MAZDA RX7 in blue with white interior. All of them have the 5 spoke style wheels. The cars are all mint, factory sealed on the blister card. The card is heavily creased. It is ripped above the hanger hole. There is a 1" tear at the right edge, right above the blister. There are minor dings in the blister. Still, this is a very unusual piece.  45.00

G-1.  "Matchbox" Series 40th Anniversary Collection,  issued in 1988. The box simulates a matchbox design & the reverse tells the history of the company when it was founded in 1947, with the first 10 vehicles being produced in 1948. A "gift set" was produced that year & this 40th anniversary set has re-produced 5 of those original vehicles in this pack.  Models are No.9 –Dennis Fire engine, No.4 - Massey Harris Tractor, No.7 - Milk Delivery Cart, No.1 -Aveling Barford Road Roller and No.5 London Bus.  Set has never been played with.  Pieces are all mint.  32.50

THE CIRCUS COMES TO TOWN Gift Set.  1994 issue.  Contains 6 different 1938 Ford Model A vans in livery for the CIRCUS BARUM, CIRCUS KRONE, BIG APPLE CIRCUS, GERRY COTTLE'S CIRCUS, CHIPPERFIELD'S CIRCUS and CIRUCS OZ.  Vehicles are mint, never removed for the box.  The box is very lightly pushed in from the bottom - not bad.  here is photo of loose vehicles - not the ones from the set you are ordering!   25.00
