pennant. circa 1910 vintage BASKETBALL PENNANT. Yellow on dark dark blue soft felt. Long yellow tassels attached to yellow border. Designed to hang vertically. Missing one of the left side tassels. Has a STAR, a "P" and an early lace style BASKETBALL all individually sewn on, made of a yellow soft felt material. There are moth holes, the tip is intact. It is 24" long, not counting tassels. VERY EARLY, one of the earliest Basketball Pennants I have ever come across. Not sure, but what are Penn's colors? the very tip of the point is missing. There is small silk label sewn on the backside of the border: Ville De Paris, Seventh at Olive, B.H. Dyas Co. overall, still a nice looking display piece! 100.00

program. 1960 FINAL FOUR. March 18-19 at the Cow Palace in San Francisco. NYU with Tom Sanders; Ohio State University with Jerry Lucas and John Havlicek; University of Cincinnati with Oscar Robinson; University of California with Darrall Imhoff. a very scarce and hard to find program. tight and clean with a near mint to mint cover but INCOMPLETE. Page 9-10 has been ripped out. Page 9 had the player stats for Ohio State and the write-ups of the secondary players. The reverse side, page 10 was the left side of the centerfold with team roster lists for NYU and OSU. STILL a great reference with most of the material. Great if you need a nice cove to upgrade the one you already have. a very scarce program, sold as-is. 125.00

The other players include Tom Owens taking taking a shot over Sonics Jack Sikma; Dave Twarzik; Lionel Hollins charging Lakers Kareem Abdul Jabbar; Lloyd Neal; Larry Steele; Bob Gross taking it to the hoop against Bullets' Robinson; T.R. Dunn; Kim Anderson; Willie Smith. Cover says it is a SET OF 11 prints - but, it was only issued, to the very best of my knowledge, with the 10 above.
