SUPERMAN. Kellogg's Corn Flakes. 12 oz. flattened box copyright National Comics Publications Inc. Early 1950's issue. Box front features young girl in pig tails eating corn flakes, painted by Norman Rockwell. Front panel also has ad for Dangle-Dandies. Reverse panel has cut-out SUPERMAN DANGLE DANDY. This consists of pieces which were pieced together in a mobile fashion. Uncut. Box has all the flaps. One small coupon has been removed from the bottom of one side panel. Has the advertisement for Howdy Doody Dangle-Dandies on a side panel. Lightly age soiled. box has been razor cut along the left front edge. There are tears on the front, with old tape repairs. With a little work, the box could be re-assembled and displayed as a full box. The back panel, with the SUPERMAN piece complete and excellent with light age soiling. The back panel is excellent! An extremely scare piece. 150.00

Captain Crunch SEA-CYCLE. late 1970's Kellogg's cereal premium. snap together model kit! when assembled it will measure approximately 6.25 x 4.25 x a hair over 5" tall. Molded in yellow plastic with full color paper litho labels. rubber band powered. includes fully illustrated instructions. When you turn the crank on the one side: Captain Crunch's legs move as if he is powering this boat. Also when the propeller is turned in the front Captain Crunch's arms bend at the elbow. Seadog just sits there and enjoys! never used. unassembled. complete and MINT in original plain mailer box. (photo of what it looks like assembled). 39.50

CAP'N CRUNCH Wiggle Figure. orange figure of him that is attached to the base with a small spring so that he "wiggles". Kind of a miniature bobble doll! when assembled he stands approx. 2.5" tall. extremely hard to find. this one is perfect mint. Still factory sealed in package. 125.00

CAP'N CRUNCH BOSUN WHISTLE. yellow, hard plastic. raised image of him on one side, and his dog on the other side. issued in the 1960's. this is the whistle that was made famous by "telephone hackers" who used it to trigger free long distance phone calls through the telephone systems. history note: John Draper discovered that a toy whistle packaged in boxes of Cap'n Crunch cereal could be easily modified to emit a tone at precisely 2600 hertz. That was the same frequency that was used by AT&T long distance lines to indicate that a trunk line was ready and available to route a new call. This would effectively disconnect one end of the trunk, allowing the still connected side to enter an operator mode. Experimenting with this whistle inspired Draper to build blue boxes: electronic devices capable of reproducing other tones used by the phone company. Draper was arrested on toll fraud charges in 1972 and sentenced to five years' probation and also brought him to the attention of Steve Wozniak. In the mid 1970s he taught his phone phreaking skills to Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak, who later founded Apple Computer. cool premium, neat peace of hacker history! excellent. 45.00
