Comic Army G.I. pops wheelies and is bouncing up and down with his helmet flopping back and forth. On the hood it has GR5-4065 - WATCH JOE GO and SUPERSONIC SPEED is on the other side. The rear sides read: ATOMIC BRAKES. superior condition. no rust. no dents. no gouges. All original. the finish is bright and shining as is the mechanism. There is very minimal wear to the wheels. LAPIN hard plastic cars. Late 1930's vintage. Made in USA. All are approx. 4.25" long with black hard plastic wheels. They each have the elongated diamond shaped LAPIN logo on the underside. One of the earliest manufacturers of plastic cars. Unfortunately the plastic is prone to warpage and every car from this series that I have ever seen has it. These are no exception, but otherwise they are mint. They used marbleized colors that defy description. The photos do not do them justice! bright and shining, glossy finish! These are all basically, in unplayed with condition!

As the box reads: an authentic replica, powerful friction motor, glass clear windows, colored lights, chrome plated bumpers, wheel hubs and fittings, bonnet opens - showing engine details, boot opens - containing luggage and spare wheel. The box pictures 3 pieces of luggage, but the car only comes with two. Never played with. There is very minor distortion along edge of roof line due to "glue" reaction over the years. This is a common fault with these early plastic pieces - not a big deal, something one lives with if they collect them. C-9.5. unplayed with. near mint to mint inside excellent box. Box shows minor shelf wear. Very hard to find car. rarely seen in nice shape. never seen MIB. Early Hong Kong plastic vehicles in this scale are RARE! 145.00

1962 VAUXHILL VICTOR. Brittle hard plastic. Made in Hong Kong. box says CLIFFORD SERIES. Front wheel friction drive. Pale yellow with blue interior, white steering wheel, chrome trim pieces, clear windows. Bonnet opens and comes with 2 pieces of removeable luggage. Box says: Electroplated bumpers, radiator, handles, road wheels, powerful friction motor, scale model. No play wear. MISSING the front bumper. Should be fairly easy to remake, as it was not a complicated piece. There is an almost invisible, very faint, hairline in roof, right above the windshield. It is only visible upon close inspection. Measures 7.75" long, I believe it is 1:24 scale or a bit bigger. Box is near mint with all flaps intact. Box shows minor shelf wear. Early Hong Kong plastic vehicles in this scale are RARE! 89.50

Circa 1964 VAUXHALL VICTOR STATION WAGON. I am not an expert, so I apologize if is a 1963 or 1965 model year. I was making the assumption based on the tail lights. Green with white roof. Brown interior. black steering wheel. Lots of chrome plated trim. Made in Hong Kong by Lucky. 3174. It also says TELSALADA on the base. Strong, front wheel friction drive. Made of brittle type, hard plastic. Has trailer hitch on rear, hidden under chassis. Hood opens to reveal engine. Rear latch opens and inside is spare tire and luggage. These removeable pieces are still factory sealed inside baggy. Original factory applied scotch tape is on the rear, holding door closed. If removed, it might require some buffing to clean the residue. Or leave as is. Original toy store 79 cent price tag is on the side. There is some chrome plating missing from the front grill and bumper. also, the white antenna is shortened. NEVER played with, still retains factory gloss. No cracks, no chips, no flaws that have not been mentioned. A very scarce and good looking piece. Approx. 1:24 scale. Early Hong Kong plastic vehicles in this scale are RARE! 139.50
