Cox JIM HALL CHAPARRAL 2C gas engine race car. large 1:20 scale. 9" long. white with racing #66. used. no visible flaws. I have not run the engine but it does turn freely and has compression. overall excellent. 195.00

Cox CORVETTE STINGRAY in red. gas power engine. has interior; chrome trim. black metal base; body lifts up to expose the gas engine in rear. Has all the chrome and interior pieces; wire wheels with spinners. body is near mint. no cracks; no chips; no scratches. Windshield is crystal clear. 2 of the chrome tail lights are replacements, but they look okay. chrome loss to front bumper. 165.00
Cox FORD GT. gas powered .049 engine. late 1960's vintage. 9" long. 1:18 scale I believe. complete with no cracks or gouges. There is tiny pinhead sized nick on the upper lip of the nose opening. The car was cast in blue plastic but has discolored to a bluish green color except the original blue shows where the decals were removed. I believe you could polish the car back to original color if you were so inclined. motor is intact. scarcer car. overall condition is excellent. 225.00
COX SHRIKE. gas powered rear engine "pusher" with prop. parts car. MISSING the windshield. piece broken out of right rear fender. It has an engine, but it is not the correct one for this car, the housing does not line up properly. good tires. 12" long. 25.00
COX Thimble Drome MERCEDES BENZ GRAND PRIX RACER. not quite 14" long, red. chromed wire wheels, driver figure. box top says: "exclusive First-Time features - Geared two wheel drive, fan cooled engine, real muffler". there is a small slot on each side of the windshield, so it may be missing side view mirrors???? there are 2 tiny hairline cracks on bottom side - and they appear to have been reinforced from the inside with a clear resin epoxy ages ago. it displays as near mint to mint. I have not fired it up, but the engine appears fine. this includes the RARE box with the interior display base AND the cardboard sign!!! it also includes some accessory pieces. this gas powered race car is early and scarce, but the box itself is RARELY seen! the boxtop is very nice with very minimal wear. the base of the box does have splits. overall, a great piece! sorry sold

Thimble Drome PROP ROD. Red with RIBBED aluminum baseplate. The ribbed base plate denotes one of the earliest versions - it was replaced with the smooth base, after repeated problems with the mold. early version with short canopy. Aluminum hubs. Knobby tires on rear. 3-bladed prop. works. hairline crack in frame above left rear axle. scratches in right front section of the body. used. very good to very good plus. scarce. 225.00

Testors SUPER BEETLE. .049 engine powered bug. 1975 issue. red. Has the SUPER BEETLE sticker on one side (it MAY have come this way, as I have never seen one with a sticker on each side?). the engine is clean, does not appear to have been run. the body snaps off of the chassis. super nice condition. MISSING the chromed plastic snap-in engine that sticks out of the front hood! includes accessories, instruction book, color pamphlet, inner box and color illustrated outer box. 150.00

trophy. 31st NATIONAL MODEL AIRPLANE CHAMPIONSHIPS July 1962. U.S. Naval Air Station; Glenview Illinois. The bottom plaque reads "Event - C Speed - Sponsored by Academy of Model Aeronautics". not quite 12" tall. Has a 4" long JET mounted on the top. The mid section is black & white on polished brass (hard to get a good photo). The bottom plaque is engraved and printed in black. Dark walnut bas and upper section. A VERY high quality award. Killer display piece. No flaws. mint condition. 125.00
trophy. Magnificent figural airplane trophy; nickel plated on wood base. Engraved on front "TP Models & Hobbies - High Point Award - Junior - VMAL". It was designed to be an ongoing annual award. First issued in 1949. The reverse side is engraved with the year and the winner. Only 1949; 1950 and 1958 are entered. Obtained from an estate in Canada. a hair over 9.5" tall. The plane has a 6.25" wingspan. High quality modeling trophies are rarely found. Killer display item. 250.00

SUPER HURRICANE 24 ignition engine BOXED. Made by Production & Tool Co., Toronto Canada, 1940’s vintage. 7” by 5” by 2”. Comes with Champion 2-v spark plug, Wilco Coil, Aerovic D.C.W.V. 400 Cap. Type 484, Hurricane Flight Timer w/box, set of wires w/alligator clips, instruction booklet, display box. All original as far as I know. Good compression. Interesting tear drop shaped head. Technical data from the brochure: Class B .24 cubic inches; 2 cycle, 3port, rotary valve; stroke = 21/32; bore = 11/16; suction gas feed; propeller = 11” with 8” pitch; rpm= 6500 to 9000 with 11” prop; horsepower = 1/6; weight is 3.5 ounces; cylinder liner – machined from Meehanite Iron and micro finished to .0001 tolerance; piston – Meehanite Iron individually ground and lapped; crankshaft – machined from solid alloy steel and individually ground and lapped; distributor – fully enclosed and adjustable. Equipped with platinum contact points. Sounds impressive! Used, definitely not abused. Box is worn but intact. close-up view. Overall excellent or better. 335.00
Vintage gas powered airplane. U.S. NAVY F-15 EAGLE. Made by Cox, circa 1978 vintage. I see no missing parts - except for the back half of the cock pit label decal AND the red nose cone piece. The bar that sticks out below the left wing that is for the guide line - has the very end broken off where the 2nd guide wire hole is - this could be repaired I am pretty sure, if you wished to still fly it. No other damage outside of the yellowing which is typical of the planes molded in white plastic. The other paper decal labels are complete. Nothing broken or repaired. Engine is very gummy - not frozen. Needs cleaning. I have never fired her up - but this was purchased from long time collector who said it was working when he stored it away years ago. Overall approx. 14.5" long with a 15.5" wingspan. vg/ex - a nice used example. 35.00
