LEO DUROCHER. full color endorsement store sign for Chesterfield Cigarettes. great photo of him, and in the background, you can see the grandstands inside the Polo Grounds. Leo was manager of the New York Giants from 1948 thru 1955, thus dating this piece. it appears to be a championship ring that he is winning, could be his 1951 National League championship ring or possibly his 1954 World Series Ring. New York Yankees BEN PASCHAL. Neat advertising "news" broadside from RED DEVIL SPARK PLUGS. Issued by Elliot Service Company. 1924. Collage of 3 photos of him with the tri-color advertising below. Titled "New Outfielder sets Yanks back $20,000". and goes on to says "but according to his record, he's worth every cent of it. "Ben Paschal" the popular fielder form the Atlanta Ga. club has a rep of being a second "Babe" Ruth and one of the best all 'round players in the southern leagues. Ben clouts either left or right handed and is a quick and tactful man around the bases. Scarce, early baseball piece and also a very scarce automotive display sign! The TRINITY lineup included: Wilcox, Carpenter, White, Campbell, Stark, Elbert, Russell, Cook, Rogers. The YALE players included: Hutchison, Parker, Smith, Downer, Walden, Brown, Clark, Carter, Ives. SMITH was penciled out and RIPLEY added. Bill Hutchison played in the pros. Removed from scrapbook. All together there are 8 scorers. Innings, outs, and the runs, hits and errors for both the visitors and home teams. On the reverse side, it pictures fat White Sox player named LITTLE ALEXANDER. and reads "Little Alexander "Mine Host to 35,000 Fans". On the bottom is Bear Cub holding bat and reads "A Hearty Welcome to Every National Bug". In the middle it reads "Do You Know the RAMBLER? It's The Car that's Built Right. Ready Any Moment Besides Long Easy Ride.: Note that the first letter in each word spells RAMBLER. The Thomas B. Jeffery Co. of Illinois, 1008 Michigan Ave., Chicago.
