game. Very early 1930's vintage boxed MICKEY MOUSE BEAN BAG GAME #213. Marks Brothers Co.. Boston, Mass. Copyright Walt E. Disney. Superior condition. Colors are bright and vivid. Marks pieces are highly sought after for their superior graphics. Great graphics of pie-eyed MICKEY and MINNIE. The glossy boxtop is identical to the graphics on the inside, except the interior is a matte finish. Bean bags were not included, you had to supply your own. Box measures approx. 15.5" by 8.5" by 1.25". The corners are strong and intact. There are no rips, no tears, no stains, no flaws outside of minor storage wear. Rare English MICKEY MOUSE Treasure Chest tin lithographed bank. I have only seen ONE other of these, ever. Circa 1935. Top shows MICKEY and MINNIE digging up Treasure Chest with Palm Trees in background. Sign reads ISLE OF THRIFT. Reads “We’ll Do Our Best to Fill This Chest”. The front shows early Pie Eyed MICKEY MOUSE carrying money sack (note that is a British POUND symbol, NOT a Dollar Sign). Also pictures PLUTO and Long Billed DONALD DUCK. On the sides and back the characters are having a parade. CLARA CLUCK, MICKEY carry a baton, PLUTO banging on drum, CLARABELLE COW dances, BIG BAD WOLF, PIG playing horn. An extremely rare ceramic figural bank of the DANCING HIPPO from Walt Disney's FANTASIA. Maker is unknown. Possibly American Pottery or Vernon Kilns - although I do not think so. I believe she is made by another company. 1940's vintage. 5.75" tall. approx. 5" wide across her arms. Eyes closed. wearing pink Tutu and ballet slippers with 4 pink flowers in her hair. She is kneeling on her right knee with her left leg extended in front of her, arms stretched wide with her head tilted back. There is a coin slot on her back with original rubber stopper in place on the base. The base is fully marked Walt Disney Productions. This is only the 2nd time I have seen one of these figures in 30 years. There is very minor roughness along the flower rims where the glaze is missing. No cracks, no breaks, no repairs. PETER PAN Peanut Butter Lids full color tin lithographed. approx. 3" diameter. these were used to cap the peanut butter jars circa 1952 to 1953. the only way to remove them was to use a bottle opener and bend the side a bit. very rarely found in nice condition as so many were damaged when opened. BLUE FAIRY MERRYWEATHER by Gund. This is by the same maker as the handpuppet. Vinyl head with stuffed body. Part of the GUNDIKINS series. 1956 thru about 1960. She stands a tad over 10" tall. All original. complete with her cloth name tag still attached. No rips. no tears. There is very minor wear to paint around the rim of the hat, with the most wear right at the tip of the point. There are no stains in the body, just normal age grime. YES, she does stand on her own. A great piece. 89.50
