1920's Carnival Ride type toy. approx. 11" tall. tower has 3 boat like gondolas; each has tin lithographed figure in it. wind it up; and the boats spin around the tower; with the centrifugal force pulling them outwards. marked on the top of the umbrella "Made in Germany". no flaws. excellent or better condition. works fine. 465.00

Circa 1903 German Lehman windup DANCING SAILOR. Naval uniform is worn. Paint on face is excellent. Painted hands show some wear. Some wear to tin litho shoes. 7 1/2" tall; he waddles side to side as he makes forward progress. Mechanism works well. He is off balance a bit; and tends to fall forward; when walking - which is typical of this toy. (backside photo). Overall; very good. 795.00

Magnificent pre-war 1930's Japanese celluloid windup ELEPHANT WITH CIRCUS FLYER. Giant 9 1/2" tall elephant dressed in blue jacket with red pants is ringing bell in right hand and waving poster in his left. reads: "Welcome! See Our Circus" and then has the CK Trade Mark and the Made in Japan. As his arms wave his massive head rocks back and forth. Note the definition of his ears, elongated trunk and tusks. A superior toy in stunning condition. Colors are strong and vibrant with no splits or holes, no dents (other than a very tiny "dimple" at the bottom most point of each ear). Near mint to mint with a very strong, working motor. 795.00

1930's German made celluloid TAP DANCER. Not quite 6" tall, he is jointed at the hip and knees. Great looking detail, wearing tophat and carrying his cane. Windup is in his back. When wound had really goes to down. We have made a "display stage" so that he can be displayed easily. Great action. Marked on his hips. Toy is mint, no flaws, works perfectly. Includes the custom "display stage". 250.00

HULA GIRL. Celluloid windup with moveable arms. Legs and feet are tin, she "wiggles" at the waist. She is wearing removable bracelets and matching necklace, with silky "grass skirt. Her red beret is "molded" on. She stands 8 1/2" tall. Works great, near mint condition, even has the plain, bottom 1/2 of her original box which has paper label on end that reads "HAWAIIAN GIRL DANCER". 225.00

Large DRUMMING DOG. Celluloid windup, circa 1930, made in Japan. White dog with black spots stands a very impressive 8 3/4" tall. Great action as he plays the drums. All celluloid, except for the tin drum top. Toy is MINT with part of the original paper import label still attached to his hip. The box bottom is included, but, unfortunately no boxtop. Superior toy! 1930's CADET. 6 1/4" tall marching Soldier holding metal Sword in one hand. Tin litho, cloth covered hat and legs, celluloid head. Head turns side to side as he goosesteps, his left arm goes up and down. great action. Cloth worn on legs, overall near mint. Occupied Japan, windup SINGING CANARY. 4 1/2" long, all celluloid with metal feet. Has original cardboard leaf attached to it's bill that reads "Wind the Spring and Hear Me Sing". Original metal key is still tied to his foot. There is minor paint chips on feet, from all the years the metal key has been bouncing against them. Colors are bright and vivid. Marvel Comics THOR. windup vinyl figure by Marx. 1967. 5" tall. very colorful. windup key on back. when wound he "vibrates" causing him to move about. includes key. works great. colors are very strong and vivid. it no longer has the circular cardboard piece on the base that has the Marx logo and copyright date. Ohio Art #575 tin lithographed windup CARNIVAL Mechanical SHOOTING GALLERY. late 1950's vintage. large, approx. 17" by 11.5" by 2.5". great color graphics of clowns, beers, animals. revolving center target and other moving targets. windup mechanism with on/off switch. box says one gun and 4 darts, but this one has an EXTRA gun with 3 darts. everything works great. no rust, no gouges, no serious wear. the guns, darts and target are all in superior condition. the box does show storage wear, but still displays very nicely. 99.50

When wound, he goes forward, back and pops wheelies. Motor is strong and works great. the decal on has hat is mint. No cracks, no breaks. very minimal wear. colors are strong and bright. 1953 Mattel FARMER IN THE DELL. large tin litho toy. when the crank is turned, it plays FARMER IN THE DELL tune, and the characters come thru the curtain, one by one. The farmer, his wife, the child, the cat, the mouse and the cheese. At the end of the song, they all disappear into the house again! Measures approx. 9.5" by 9.5" by 78.25" tall. West German windup MONKEY HURDY-GURDY PLAYER. Felt face, tin litho organ grinder machine, cloth clothing. Tail spins, he cranks the machine creating "music". All the while he vibrates around. 6" tall, 1950's. Near mint. 139.50

MISSING the tall foot operated cymbal AND his right arm is disconnected. battery box is clean. no rust - colors are bright and vivid. a scarce toy. Large horse molded in yellow and trimmed in red is standing on red plastic platform with 6 yellow wheels. the wheels are knurled so that when they rotate they cause the multicolored clowns to revolve. I have NEVER seen anything like this in all the years I have been dealing toys. I have not seen anything else from this company. He has separately applied, long ears that are still intact. Never played with. Unused. Mint condition. The red shoelace pullstring I do not think is original.( long by 5.5" wide, 8" tall. Each clown is removable and each is 3" long. Large, impressive.
